  Thallus greyish green, corticate. Ascomata solitary, subglobose, c. 0.4–0.7 mm diam., erumpent from the substratum, the sides often partly covered by the thallus; ostiole pale, lateral. Hamathecium IKI–. Asci 40–60 × 10–12 μm, with a rounded ocular chamber. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate, 3-septate, fusiform, with rounded ends, 15–20 × 7–10 μm, red-brown; lumina rounded, the terminal lumina often elongate and separated from the exospore only by a thin endospore layer. Pycnidia unknown..
CHEMISTRY: —
     
  Known from bark in rainforest in eastern Qld. Palaeotropical, in lowland forest.
